Online / Direct Ordering

Can I order product on Hallmark.com?
Canadian consumers may order product on Hallmark.com although it must be paid with a credit card with a US billing address and must be shipped to a US address. Currently Hallmark.com does not ship into Canada.
Why can't I order product from Hallmark.ca?
Currently Hallmark.ca does not provide on-line shopping. Please visit your local Hallmark location to purchase Hallmark product
I have a question about a business greeting card order that was placed through Hallmark. Who can I contact?

I can't find a certain item at a Hallmark store. Can I order direct from Hallmark?

Hallmark Card Studio

Why doesn't Hallmark offer support for Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe programs?
The Card/Scrapbook Studio software is sold at office supply stores and www.hallmarksoftware.com. The Card/Scrapbook Studio includes Hallmark's artwork, but it is not a Hallmark product so we have no information about the product itself. For technical support, to purchase the software or other inquiries for this product, please go to www.hallmarksoftware.com and click on "Support" at top of page which will load Customer Service and Chat information or call 1-800-395-6682. The Tech Support Team can also be reached directly at 1-888-926-9871. Customer Service Hours for Card Studio are 8am - 4pm Pacific Time.

Promotions & Loyalty Programs

Is Crown Rewards membership offered to U.S. residents only?
Membership in the Crown Rewards program is limited to U.S. mailing addresses, since it is supported by Hallmark Gold Crown stores in the United States. Canadian consumers can join the Hallmark Rewards loyalty program. For more information, visit the Hallmark Rewards sign-up page at: www.hallmarkrewards.ca/signup/Home/memberRegister.
Do you have any special offers or promotions at Canadian Hallmark card shops?
Throughout the year Hallmark Canada retail stores offer a variety of special offers and promotions on a range of items including home decor product, gift wrap, ornaments, books and more. You can learn about these offers on our website (www.hallmark.ca) and also by joining the Hallmark Rewards loyalty program at HallmarkRewards.ca.
I receive emails from Hallmark.com with coupons or about promotions. When I visit my local Hallmark card shop, they are not familiar with this program.

To have your email address removed from the Hallmark.com mailing list, scroll to the bottom of the email, click on "unsubscribe" and follow the instructions. Note that this process takes 10 days. Please follow the instructions below to unsubscribe from Hallmark Rewards emails:
  1. Log onto www.hallmarkrewards.ca.
  2. Enter the current email address registered for Hallmark Rewards in the box titled "Already a Hallmark Rewards Member?"
  3. Select "Update Existing Profile".
  4. You will then receive an email titled "Update Profile" from Hallmark Rewards. Simply click on the link in the body of the email to unsubscribe.

"Write to the Future" Millennium Promotion

What is "Write to the Future"?
In 2010, to celebrate Hallmark Canada's 100th birthday, Hallmark Canada sold a special envelope whereby consumers inserted a letter, card, photograph or memorabilia to be sent to themselves or a loved one ten years in the future. The envelopes were mailed to Hallmark Canada to be stored and then mailed in early 2020. Each Write to the Future envelope included a serial number and postcard with the same serial number. The postcard was required to inform Hallmark of any changes to the recipient mailing address. The serial number is the key required if changes are to be made on the name or mailing address that was written on the envelope for the future mailing. Without the serial number, changes cannot be applied.
How can I change the name or address on a "Write to the Future" envelope that was sent a while ago?
To change the mailing information on your "Write to the Future" envelope, return the postcard that should have been detached and send it with the changes to the address below.

Please note that without the serial number listed on the postcard, the changes cannot be applied.

Without the Change of Address postcard with the number that came with the envelope, we are unable to locate the envelope to make the required changes. If you have the number, you can send a letter with the required information to us. There is no method to locate individuals' letters as they are all sealed in the Write to the Future envelopes.

Donation and Sponsorship

Can Hallmark make a donation or offer support for a charitable or non-profit organization?
Although Hallmark Canada would like to support all charities and community groups that approach us, the interest in receiving support from Hallmark Canada far exceeds our ability to respond and we are unable to donate products to any additional organizations. Hallmark does not contribute either cash or products to individuals or businesses.
Can Hallmark donate product to be used at a fundraising event for auctions, prizes or draws, a school's fun fair or graduation parties?
Although Hallmark Canada would like to support all charities and community groups that approach us, the interest in receiving support from Hallmark Canada far exceeds our ability to respond and we are unable to donate products to any additional organizations. General Information

Can I use Hallmark's work and designs on my own products?
We are delighted that our consumers enjoy our products and are flattered by requests to copy them, but it is important that we retain exclusive rights to the creations of our artists and writers. As a result, Hallmark does not grant permission to use any of our copyrighted images or writings. We do license some of our designs to other manufacturers in the apparel, domestics and table top industries. For example, you may see our copyright mark on designed boxes of tissues or on kitchenware. Our Maxine character is beginning to appear on a variety of products. And favourite characters from other creators - such as Winnie the Pooh, Peanuts, Barbie, or Disney characters - are used on Hallmark products.
Can you tell me in what year a greeting card was manufactured?
Hallmark can provide that information if evidence is required for a legal court case. The inquiry must be submitted on a lawyer's letterhead and sent to Hallmark Canada Customer Care at the address below. An explanation of why this information is considered necessary court evidence must be provided.

Where can I purchase a gift card to be used at a Canadian Hallmark card shop?
Hallmark Canada does not offer a gift card program.
I would like Hallmark to me a Datebook.
Please visit a Hallmark retail store the weekend of Ornament Debut (the second weekend of October). The next year's Datebooks become available at this time in most participating Hallmark retail stores. If you wish to have a quantity of Datebooks sent to you, contact Hallmark Canada Customer Service at 1-800-268-3230.
Can Hallmark provide a quantity of Datebooks for a group/organization/company?
Please visit a Hallmark retail store the weekend of Ornament Debut (the second weekend of October). If you wish to have a quantity of Datebooks sent to you, contact Hallmark Canada Customer Service at 1-800-268-3230. We will try to fulfill your request but the quantity you require cannot be guaranteed.
Where can I find a refill for my Hallmark pen?

Hallmark discontinued making writing instruments (pens and pencils) and the ink refills in 1993; however, Cross refills can be used along with a plastic adapter in Hallmark ball point pens. We can send you an adapter free of charge. Just email us at canadacustomerservice@hallmark.com . Include your mailing address and 'request for pen adapter.'

Once you receive your pen adapter:

  1. Remove the cap from your Hallmark ballpoint pen.
  2. Unscrew, remove and discard the empty ink cartridge.
  3. Slide the refill point inside the unthreaded end of the plastic adapter.
  4. Insert the refill into your ballpoint pen and turn until point emerges from tip of pen.
  5. Replace cap.
    1. Reminder: The next time you refill your pen, be sure to remove the black plastic adapter and reuse it with your new refill. It can be used again and again.

I purchased a product with a manufacturer's defect at a Hallmark card shop. What should I do?
Return the item with the receipt to the card shop where it was purchased. You may wish to telephone the retailer in advance. Most Hallmark retails stores across Canada are independently owned and return policies vary from store to store. Keepsake Ornaments

Where can I locate older ornaments?
Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments are initially available only through retailers who offer Hallmark products. Keepsake Ornaments from previous years are not available from Hallmark. There are, however, countless collectors who buy, sell and trade ornaments and collectibles through a secondary market. You can also find out about buying Hallmark collectibles by networking with other collectors, asking your local retailer for recommendations, searching the Internet, reading classified ads, or checking local antique malls or flea markets that include collectibles. Secondary market dealers are independent and we cannot guarantee the service or pricing policies they offer.
I reside in Canada and my Keepsake Magic ornament doesn't work. What do I do?
If the Magic ornament (light, motion or music) is within the three-year warranty, contact Hallmark Canada Customer Care by emailing: canadacustomerservice@hallmark.com.
